You may even have friends and family who have succumbed to temptation and are now suffering the consequences of their decisions. But you made it through high school without falling for any traps. About 20 million people in the United States are already infected. As the most recognizable form of HPV, genital warts are soft, moist, or flesh colored and appears in the genital area within weeks or months after infection.
